I am using version 4.0.2, and the JSP designer window keeps locking up on me. When this happens, there is often (but not always) an extra Java toolbar icon indicating that some external (to eclipse) java process is running. Any idea what is going on here? I am currently just trying to get through the JSF Login Demo in the MyEclipse help.

Just a follow-on note. I do have VS.NET 2005 Beta 2 installed on my machine, and uninstalling it is not an option. I really hope that the MyEclipse team can duplicate and eradicate this problem quickly…

I’m sorry to say this does seem to be a VS Beta 2 issue because of what it does to IE (which MyEclipse relies on as well):
