I’ve been using a custom button (copied from the Buttons template btw), and there are small buttons over it. I only got it working properly by adding the same link to both custom and icon buttons.
The problem is that when I click on the custom btn, active color activates, but not when I click on the icon button (of course). This makes the button behave differently depending on where you touch it.

My suggestions is: Add an option to disable Active Color from custom button, or allow me to give it the same gradient as the button fill, or even add the Active Color option to Image Buttons (with a mask, different image, idk).

Let make sure I understand your design, you are create a composite of multiple buttons laided on top of one another, right? Can you post me a screenshot?

Yeah, that’s correct, I have the Image Button, which is the icon I desire on top of a Custom Button, copied from the Buttons model. I’ve noticed that in the model the icon is “accessoryImage1”, which isn’t like a Image or a Image button, right? This type of icon doesn’t “block” the Custom Button action, but Image/Image buttons does.

Screenshot of my menu with buttons attached. The feed one has a different background ’cause I changed it to look like a currently selected menu.

Based on your experience I have opened an enhancement request to the dev team to enable Custom Button to serve as a special container that can include an embedded image and text. We (dev team and I) discussed enabling auto-resize property on text and image when placed on a custom button.
