When “Show whitespace chartacters” is enabled in the text editors preferences, the vertical scrollbar disappears

Thank you for raising it. I could replicate the issue at my end with ‘Show whitespace characters’ enabled.
I have filed a bug for the dev team. We will keep you posted when the fix is out.Sorry for inconvenience caused.

The editor scrollbars are by Eclipse and this issue is also seen in Eclipse’s regular Dark theme (even without installing Darkest Dark). We have added our comments to the Eclipse bug and it has to be fixed at Eclipse end : https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=502459
