    XP Sp2, Ec 3.1.1, MyEc 4.1.0, JDK 1.5.0.6
    Not sure what’s going on here, but all my source (java, jsp) suddenly indented by 2 instead of the default 4. The tab key moves cursor in increments of 2.
    prefs->general->Text Editors->Displayed Tab Wdith=4
    prefs->MyEclipse->Editors->Common Ed Pref->Display Tab Width=4

    The only thing I’ve changed recently is the font for the java and MyEclipse editors.

    Thanks..

    If you change the font back, do the tabs display correctly again? Is it possible you changed to a TT font and don’t notice that it is actually indenting 4, it just looks smaller?

    Riyad,

    Reseting the font back to its default (Courier New on my machine) sets the tabs back to 4. I had selected Arial which is not a TT font. Looks like its reproducible. Note: this effects the Java editor and Myeclipse so maybe its an Eclipse issue?

    I have one other small issue which I didn’t want to cloud with my main issue. It appears that the Myeclpse editors do not follow the Windows XP color scheme selction. For example, I selected “Marine” and my Java editor now has a very light green background, but all Myeclipse editors are white background.

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Yes, sounds like an Eclipse issue.

    As far as the colors go, you can work around this from Window > Prefs > MyEclipse > Editors > Common Editor Preferences. I’ll file this as well, but the editor infrastructure is different between the two editors so that is likely why they are not picking up the same colors.
