I have the latest version of MyEclipse 2014. On previous versions (back to at least 10.0) I was able to dock the tool bar on the left side of the Package Explorer. This does not seem to be available as a feature any longer. Is this a bug, or a design decision? It was so much easier to change perspectives when the bar was on the left.

MyEclipse 2014 is based on Eclipse Kepler (4.3.1) and the ‘Dock On’ feature is no longer available for versions later than Eclipse 3.8.

I suggest you raise a request in Eclipse bugzilla.
