From Help -> Software Update -> Check for Update, and it took a long time to download stuffs but at the end, it gives me the error.

“An unexpected error occured preparing to install and/or launch the selected profile. Reason: An error occurred while configuring the items to uninstall” In the white text box below – it shows java.lang.NullPointerException.

The version seems to be at 7.5 now since that’s what I see in the startup dialog box. but – it seems like it’s stopping to finish the upgrade installation.

    Here is the install summary:

We had a system hiccup last weekend when we rolled out the 7.5 update and broke the server-side records of the updates and that’s why you were seeing the errors. We fixed it as soon as we got to know about it last week itself and now all should be correct and the 7.5.0 updates are going out smoothly.

To fix this issue at you end, please launch the Pulse Explorer that is installed physically on your hard drive; typically <Genuitec Folder>\Pulse Explorer\pulse-explorer.exe

Once you do this, you’ll get presented with the Login screen — where you can select to Login, Register or Anonymous Login. Login Anonymously and once inside the Explorer, you can right-click on the MyEclipse Profile and select “Reinstall and Run”. This should fix the issue for you.

    Sorry for the hiccup.
