Putting the Dozer eclipse plugin jar in the C:\Program Files\Pulse\Common\plugins (along with Spring IDE 2.2.1) does not work. However, it appears to work in standard Eclipse installation. What is going on with putting regular plugin jars here?

    parsons68,
What version of MyEclipse are you working with? Incase you working with ME 7.0, you cannot drop plugins into the plugin folder and get them to work. You can try setting up the lugin from Help > Software Updates and setup the plugin with MyEclipse.

The plugin drop functionality issue will be addressed in the next release.

    Hi Nipun,

This looks like the problem I’m facing with my custom plugin.

You write it isn’t possible to drop plugins into the plugin folder….

Installing a custom plugin with software updates does not work for me (no repository found)

When is this going to be fixed? I cannot move to ME 7 without this functionality.

    Thanks,

    Teun Hoogendoorn

Did you try setting up the plugin using the /dropins folder?
