Since installing (and uninstalling, since I don’t want those patched debug plugs, thanks) MyEclipse 3.8 beta 2, my Eclipse splash screen no longer appears! What gives?

Cancel that cry… I deleted the Eclipse config file. Sorry to blame MyEclipse. Note to self – check first.

FYI, those debug plugins are the same as Eclipse 3.0 final with a few edits to enable source-level JSP debugging. Without them JSP debugging won’t work.

Don’t know why the spash screen wouldn’t show up again. As you can see from launching after the install, we don’t touch the default splash screen. We leave it in place.
