    Hi all,

is there a way to take influence on how long the splash screen is displayed?

    Background:
When I start my native app I am downloading stuff which takes some time. The first screen which is displayed should already show downloaded data.

Currently, the splash screen is displayed for a few seconds which is not long enough to download all the data, so the first screen is empty.

What I wolud like to achieve is that the splash screen disappears when all data is loaded.

    Thanks and best

Unfortunatelly the answer is no, the splash screen display interval is handled by iOS

    Hi octavio,

thanks anyway. I did do a workarround. My first screen is now “a second” splash screen showing the same image as the original splash screen. I wrote a little timer, which moving to the first page I really want to display.

Unfortunately I am facing currently this problem (http://www.genuitec.com/support-genuitec/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3459) too, so the user can see that there ist something going on.

When this is solved, I will use this way.

    best
