    Hello,

I’m finding that ME6M1/eclipse 3.3 is crashing a couple of times a day while editing javascript files. This is on a 64-bit RHEL WS5 machine using jdk1.6.0._02. Stack trace listed below. Any suggestions or ideas?

    Thanks!

    John,
Are you using a 64-bit build of Eclipse or 64-bit JDK?

MyEclipse isn’t tested or certified with either, and that mismatch could explain the crashes…

Thanks for your reply Riyad. It is a 64-bit build of Eclipse, a 64-bit JDK, and 64-bit version of RHEL. I couldn’t get ME5.5/Eclipse 3.2 to run at all on this platform – should it? I can change the Eclipse build and JDK easily enough, what versions do you support on a 64-bit RHEL platform?

    John,
Actually using the standard Eclipse 3.2.2 SDK (32-bit): http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops/R-3.2.2-200702121330/download.php?dropFile=eclipse-SDK-3.2.2-linux-gtk.tar.gz

    and Sun 6.0_02 32-bit:
    http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp

should work… what types of problems were you having getting it to work before?
