Does MyEclipse want to support eclipse RCP development including SWT/JFace?
If you can do it, it will be perfect. 😀 😀 😀

We have many users that use MyEclipse for RCP development just due to the breadth of tools it provides. However, currently don’t offer a visual editor for SWT/JFace. However, such support is provided by the Visual Editor project at Eclipse, that you can use in conjunction with MyEclipse, or by a few commercial tools that can suppliment MyEclipse to provide this functionality as well.

Thanks, I currently use Eclipse Visual Editor project(Eclipse RCP-View/Editor, SWT) to develop my product.
But I really like MyEclipse IDE.
I want one stop shopping, so maybe I am greedy for it. 😉Matthew 😛

We’ll be deliverying one-stop shopping as part of the 5.5 GA release at the end of April with a consolidated, tested, optional install of both OSS and commercial extensions for MyEclipse. So, you’ll be able to just come to us and get everything you need in one spot. Not greedy at all; you just value your time. And, so do we. 🙂
Frankly, I hope that MyEclipse can support SWT/JFace.
Could you evaluate it?

The best way to get a feature evaluated is to put it in the Feature Requests forum so that others can pile on support for it. So, I’m moving this there.
