I’ve been reinvestigating the vi plugin for eclipse, but for it to work properly, I beleive it needs to work with editors that provide certain extension points. What editors provide by myeclipse are likely to be incompatible with the vi plugin ? and is it possible that this may change upon integration of IBM webtool contributions ?

ivar here’s the quick answer I got:
1) We don’t know how VI will work
2) We don’t know if it will work with WebTools Editor
3) We can look at this again after 3.8 GA if we get a chance.
