We still have some projects that are using EJB 1.X technology.
Today, we accidently discovered that we have two different workstations the seemed to handle validation differently, although both are running MyEclipse 10.7.1.

On one workstation when we look at Window->Preferences->MyEclipse->Validation, the list of available validators includes an entry for EJB (1.X-2.X) and a separate entry for EJB 3.X.

On the other workstation, the same list of validators does not show a validator for EJB (1.X-2.X). It does show the EJB 3.X validator.

I would like to be able to use EJB 1.X validation on the second workstation, but I can’t figure
out how to get it to be include in the list of validators so that it can be enabled.

    kyran,

    Apologies for late response.

To enable EJB (1.x-2.x) validator in validation preference page , you need to switch on WTP Extras and restart the workspace.

To switch on WTP Extras you need to go to Window > Preferences->General->Capabilities->Advanced->MyEclipse Standard Tools and select “WTP Deprecated” and “WTP Extras” and click OK.

Let us know how it works for you.
