I was requested from this thread https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/jsf-validation-does-not-recognize-method-calls/ to cross post here. I am trying to call a method with a parm from EL in a JSF 2 page, but the autocomplete is not showing the method. All details including a sample project illustrating this problem can be found in the referenced thread. This using the latest (10.6) version of MyEclipse.

I could replicate this at my end. I have raised a PR with the dev team.
