douglasmarquardtMemberHello,
I’m trying to use one of the Examples On Demand available to evaluate the MyEclipse Blue to my company. We use RAD currently.
I’ve followed the instructions from http://www.examplesondemand.com/firewall.jsp, as I’m behind a firewall in my company.
However, it didn’t fix the issue. The message I’m getting is the following:
Could not connect to
:pserver:anonymous@examples.myeclipse.com:443/home/cvs/public/myeclipse/examples: Cannot connect to host: Connection refused: connectAny help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Douglas.
support-joyMemberDouglas,
Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. Can you please verify if you have setup your proxy information here – Open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on Window > Preferences > General > Network Connections.
Let me know how this works for you.
Best.

support-swapnaModeratorUpendra,
Sorry that you are running into this issue.
1. If you are behind firewall / proxy, you have to set up your proxy details here – Window > Preferences > General > Network Connections and restart your IDE.
2. Can you try this alternative – Click on Window > Open Perspective > Other > CVS Repositiory Exploring. This will open the CVS Repository window . Expand MyEclipse Example > Head. Right click on any example project and click on [Check Out]. This will check out the project to your project explorer. Please read README.txt.
3. You can also visit http://www.myeclipseide.com/module-htmlpages-display-pid-7.html as some of the sample projects are part of the tutorials
Let me know how this works for you.
