Not sure why JPEG is the only format you can export a generated ER diagram as in the DB explorer. The resulting JPEG is a mess of blurry artifacts around the text especially. The JPEG codec is completely ill-suited for line drawings. It would be nice to see support for PDF, or at the very least a lossless bitmap format such as PNG.

While you’re at it, some kind of ruler that shows how large the diagram is in inches would be awesome! I like to print my diagrams to check my work, and it’s a trial and error process now to fit them on a page.

    Keep up the great work!

    Erik,

We are aware of the image export issues and we hope to boost the priority soon, I will add your comments to our internal issue system.
In the meanwhile, there are a couple of PDF printers available, what you could do is use those to “print” to a PDF file which should satisfy your immediate needs.

Good point about the rulers, I’ll file an enhancement request.

We appreciate your support, thank you!
    Brian.

Any update on this? I really like the er-diagram feature for quickly visualizing tables, but printing and exporting is a dreadful process. There is simply no easy way to do it without getting page-breaks in the middle of your tables and tons of blank pages for no apparent reason.
