Will Glass-HusainParticipantHi,
I tried to install Aptana Studio as a plugin on top of MyEclipse 6.0.1. (I’d previously also installed the FlexBuilder 3 plugin).
Now I can’t open Eclipse at all– I get a popup message telling me to check a configuration log. I’m not whether the error is Aptana, or some type of incompatability with MyEclipse. But any suggestions on how to get MyEclipse back up?
WILL

Loyal WaterMemberAptana is not certified to run with MyEclipse and I guess that is causing the problem here. If you remove the plugin, does MyEclipse startup?
Will Glass-HusainParticipantIt doesn’t. (I tried removing the folders from eclipse/plugins and eclipse/features). That’s the puzzling thing.
Here’s something that always works — even leaving the aptana plugins in.
* run MyEclipse, getting the error
* do *anything* which updates the timestamp on the features directory. (example, create a new file “test.txt”)
* launch myeclipse. now it works.
is there some kind of bundle configuration action which is triggered on a date change for the Features directory?
Loyal WaterMemberThis is so weird. Can you try using the clean to try and fix this issue:-
https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/troubleshoot-using-the-clean-command-line-argument/Incase the problem persists, can you switch to a new workspace and test if the problem persists.
Let me know what result you get.
