I am running MyEclipse Workbench v7.5.

I recently installed the CFEclipse plugin. It looks like it installed however when I go to Error in Windows – Pref -CFEclipse – Browser i get the following error:

“Unable to create the selected preference page. org.eclipse.core.runtime.internal.adaptor.EclipseLazyStarter$TerminatingClassNotFoundException.”

If I click on Details I get the following:

“Unable to create the preference page. An error occured while automatically activating bundle.org.cfeclipse.cfml (224).

    we9603,

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. Let me clarify that MyEclipse doesn’t provide any intrinsic support for CFEclipse plugin. Please refer – http://myeclipseide.com/module-htmlpages-display-pid-1.html . Having said that there are users who have successfully added 3rd party plugins to MyEclipse profile. Can you answer few queries for me to get to the root cause?
    1. Can you copy and paste your installation details? Open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details
    2. How did you install ME? Meaning all-in-one installer / pulse / archived update site on top of eclipse classic?
    3. How did you add CFEclipse plugin? Can you mention the steps in detail? Can you share the weblink of CFEclipse plugin?
    4. Have you verified if the CFEClipse plugin is compatible to the base Elipse – 3.4.2?

3- I installed the CFEclipse plugin via update site. Here is the link: http://www.cfeclipse.org/update

4- I believe the plugin is compatible to to the base eclipse – 3.4.2. Are all plugins compatible w/ Eclipse compabitle w/ MyEclipse by as well?

    we9603,

Thank you for the details. I see that CFEclipse maynot be compatible to other plugins. I faced issue when I had subversion added to my ME7.5. I removed subversion and added CFEclipse. I would recommend you check the compatibility of other third party plugins you have installed with that of CFEclipse. Open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on Help > Software Updates > Manage in Pulse Explorer. This will show ME 7.5 profile selected in pulse. Look at Personal Software, this lists all your third party plugins and / or softwares. After you remove the incompatible third party plugin, right click on “MyEclipse 7.5” and click on [run]. This will open a wizard which will guide you through the rest of the steps.

Let me know how this works for you.
    Best.
