This error message is an indication that MobiOne’s software modules failed its internal integrity check. Did you download the installer from a source other than genuitec.com?As the error message suggests, please uninstall MobiOne and then reinstall it. If you downloaded the installer from a site other than genuitec.com please delete that installer and download the latest version from genuitec.com/download.html
tum010MemberThank you for your quick response.
I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling, but this problem still occurs.
I downloaded the installer from “http://downloads.myeclipseide.com/downloads/products/mobione/1.X/MobiOne_1.1.2_Installer.exe”.
Just4FunMemberIf you downloaded the installer from a site other than genuitec.com please delete that installer and download the latest version from genuitec.com/download.html
Did you miss this part of Wayne’s message?

By download page, do you mean “http://www.genuitec.com/mobile/download.html” ?
When I click to download the installer file, it will re direct to “http://downloads.myeclipseide.com/downloads/products/mobione/1.X/MobiOne_1.1.2_Installer.exe”.
support-michaelKeymasterNo issue with the download. This is an odd situation that we are researching now.
A few of more questions:
1) how are you installing MobiOne? For example are using the default installation location proposed by the MobiOne installer?2) can you describe your system specs:
– Windows OS (XP, Vista, Win7)
– user privileges, installed as guest, adminstrator, other3) when mobione attempts to launch is there any type of virus scanner or firewall warnings?
support-michaelKeymasterOne more request, please send me the mobione system log file. It can be found in a subdirectory of your user home dir. The path relative to your user dir is: <userhome>\.mobione\runtime\.metadata\.log
tum010MemberHi Wayne,
1) I have the installation as a normal procedure, but select the directory is “C: \ MobiOne Studio”.
2) Window 7 Ultimate Service Pack1 64-bit (installed as administrator)
3) Nothing related to virus alerts or filewall.(I try to deactivate the virus scanner.)
tum010MemberI cannot find the log folder from that path.
support-michaelKeymaster@tum010
You may need to enable the Windows File Explorer to view hidden files in your home directory. For example on my Win7 machine my log file is at c:\Users\Wayne\.mobione\runtime\.metadata\.log The log file has the goofy name .log
tum010MemberI have enabled show hidden files but still cannot find the log file or folder.

My apology as I just realized from your screenshot that if MobiOne is failing to startup correctly then there is possibly no .log file being created. The integrity warning indicates some portion of the codebase has been modified. Can you do me a favor and send me the archive com.genuitec.eclipse.core_8.4.1110.201103301237.jar for inspection. Based on your installation into C:\MobiOne Studio this jar file can be found in C:\MobiOne Studio\Common\plugins Send it to support at genuitec dot com to my attention (Wayne).
tum010MemberI’ve sent you the file already
Thx.
support-michaelKeymaster@tum010
Thanks for sending me that file. I am suspecting that either the installation is still goofing up such that the security services are not configured correctly or there is some type of antivirus lock down that is preventing MobiOne from loading its internal modules. I followed up via email. -
