Trying to upgrade to the latest MyEclipse Pro 2025.1.0 from an older version of MyEclipse Standard (2021.2.24) that I already have installed.

But the installation process errors out and shows this dialog (see attachment).

I am also attaching the MyEclipse-support zip file that was created.

When I click the “Show” button to see a description of the problem it just opens the Windows file explorer and starts a search in a Temp directory that never ends.

Apologies for the unclear errors from this update process. The update is failing because some components you have installed are longer present in the MyEclipse offline installer and so cannot be updated. These include a large number of plugins from the MyEclipse for Spring feature set that were removed from the offline installer in MyEclipse 2022. This feature is still available online.

Here are some options that will allow you to move ahead with 2025.
    1) Update from within the product using Help > Check for Updates. This will update all the features you have installed.
    OR
    2) Uninstall MyEclipse 2021 and install a fresh copy of 2025 using the offline installer.

Please let us know if you require further assistance with the update.
