I am getting an error when trying to go into the MyEclipse-Spring configuration from the project properties windows.
The error is not going in the log but I am unable to change this configuration.
The error reads:
Unable to create the selected property page.
Reason:
Plug-in com.geniutec.org.springframework.ide.eclipse.beans.uiwas unable to load class org.springframework.ide.eclipse.beans.ui.properties.ConfigurationPropertyPage

I am using MyEclipse 5.1.1 which I downloaded just today.

Any hint as to what could be causing this problem?

Have you tried starting MyEclipse using the -clean command?

I have not try that but this problem happened the first time I ran it in a brand new workspace.
I’ll give that a try though.

I run eclipse with -clean option and the problem remains.
Any other ideas?

Do you have a SpringIDE installed separately, along with MyEclipse ? Go to Help > Software Updates > Manage Configuration, and expand the Eclipse node and see if you have SpringiDE already installed. Try and disable it (right-click, disable) and restart and see if that fixes it.

I too can’t access the Myeclipse-Spring properties.

I’ve tried disabling, restarting my-e, and re-enabling but to no avail. -clean didn’t help. I also reinstalled…

Any input would be truly appreciated.

Hi Jyefu,
It looks like an installation issue. Please download our 5.5.1 All in One installer, and install it to a brand new location, then open your existing workspace and see i the problem persists. Let me know if it does.
