Brian FernandesModeratorJezz,
This looks like a bug that may have been fixed already – from your plugin list, it looks like you may have an earlier version of CodeMix installed. Can you check for updates, take the CodeMix update, restart, and let us know if the problem recurs?
Also confirm the version of CodeMix you have installed, go to Window > Preferences > CodeMix and please let us know the exact Version and Build Id values.
Was CodeMix working for you before, has this suddenly started happening?
jezzrussoParticipantMy codemix is updated and it don’t work since I installed. 🙁
Name: CodeMix for Eclipse

support-swapnaModeratorJezz,
Thank you for the details. I could not replicate the problem at my end with STS 3.9.4 and CodeMix.
1. Can you please clarify if you cannot open any of the files after installing CodeMix?
2. It is not clear if the problem started after updating CodeMix or with a fresh install of CodeMix. Please clarify the same.
3. Can you please switch to a new workspace and check if the issue persists? If yes, then please share with us the complete workspace log by clicking on the ‘Export Log’ icon in the Error Log view to help us get full details of the errors logged. Also share with us your OS and version details.Apologies for inconvenience caused.

Brian FernandesModeratorJezz,
I’m sorry for the silence, I thought I had responded to this earlier.
We believe this problem may be caused due to some bad metadata that was written out by one of our earlier releases, related to the non standard encoding that is likely default on your system (given your Portuguese locale).
Unfortunately, the only solution to this is to take a fresh install of STS and install the latest release of CodeMix into that (which has this bug fixed). Just to be sure, I would start with a new workspace at the same time and confirm that you do not see this error. If it works, you can then try switching to the older workspace. I would normally suggest uninstalling CodeMix and reinstalling it into your existing STS install, but I’m afraid that this may not be enough with the depth of this problem.
Apologies for the significant inconvenience caused.
