zambizziMemberI get the following when shutting down the AS:

…and if I restart while running I get the same error…but when JBoss is starting back up there’s a bunch of ports locked up and it fails all over the place…which makes me think it didn’t have sufficient time to shut down before starting back up.
If it gets screwed up like that while restarting, I can shut it down, wait for it to die, and start it back up…but the fact remains that it’s not functioning correctly.
Any ideas? I specified a password for the admin while installing JBoss (to emulate production) but I don’t see how to specify that in MyEclipse’s settings?
Thanks!
Riyad KallaMemberNo idea… I haven’t seen this before. What does it look like when you start it from the command line?
Can you try redownloading the JBoss 4.0.5 ZIP and just unzipping it to a new dir, then going into the JBoss connector settings and just changing the home dir and seeing if it suddenly starts/stops clean?
heapifymanMemberIn the JBoss IDE server launch configuration I can work around this problem by specifying
-u admin -p <PASSWORD>
in the start, stop and twiddle args.
Where would I have to set these in MyEclipse 5?
Loyal WaterMemberYou can go to Windows > Preferences > MyEclipse > Application Servers > JBoss 4 and specify the arguments there.
