Currently I am working on a project that requires an ESB and we are evaluating various JBI (JSR 208) complient ESB. We liked Servicemix and the only plugin available that I found is Chinbuilder. I was wondering if you have any plans for supporting any ESB.
Both have eclipse plugins. The ServiceMix plug-in is from LogicFuse.
I am currently evaluating, but the ServiceMix plug-in looks to be fairly light on functionality.I was searching for Open Source ESB providers to use in my project. But there is a lot to learn for a first-comer. Around my company MULE is the most popular, but since I have been using JBoss AS for a while, I tried to go with JBossESB. But the version that I need ( that uses JBoss Messaging ) will not be released until the end of year.
For now, I will try to simulate a rustic ESB with JBoss Messaging.
Meanwhile, I would not mind if MyEclipse eventually would support JBossESB and/or MULE development.
