cannelleMemberHi all,
I tried to run a report using the MyEclipse tutorial http://www.myeclipseide.com/documentation/reporting/quickstart/
and when I try to run it on a web browser, I have this exception :

The derby server and MyEclipse Tomcat are both running.
I retrieve the data from an Oracle database.I’m using Eclipse 3.3 and MyEclipse 6.5.1 on Linux (Ubuntu).
Any idea about what is going wrong ?
thanks for your help.
Loyal WaterMemberCan you go to MyEclipse > Installation Summary > installation Details and paste the information here for me.
When you setup MyEclipse Reports with MyEclipse, did you get any errors?
Can you go to MyEclipse > Example-On-Demand and try running the MERSimpleReportExample. Do you face the same issue?
cannelleMemberhere is the installation summary :

I installed Eclipse 3.3 and MyEclipse 6.5.1 today.
I just untared the eclipse3.3, run it and then I when to Help>Software Update>find and install and I pointed to the MyEclipseDiscoveryArchive.zipthe report feature was available then.
I will try to run the MERSimpleReportExample and see what happens.
cannelleMemberYes, the MERSimpleReportExample generates exactly the same exception.
Loyal WaterMemberIf you go to File > New > Project > MyEclipse, do you see the Report Development > Report Web Project option in there?
cannelleMemberYes, I can see it and I used it to create my report.
I have also another issue : I can see nothing in the Property Editor thumbnail even when I select the “table” object.
cannelleMemberafter restarting with a new workspace, it’s finally working in MyEclipse browser (the property editor too).
But I still have an exception when I type the url in an external browser (no stack trace is displayed). It’s just saying : version mismatch.
Do you know why ?thanks.
Loyal WaterMemberCan you paste the entire exception here for me. I feel you might have to switch to Java 1.5. I’ll take a look at the exception and let you know.
cannelleMemberIt’s working on any other browser than Firefox 3. And when I have this exception on F3, I can only see the message :
Exception : version Mismatchand the stack trace is empty.
Loyal WaterMemberIs there any additional information about this error recorded under <workspace>/.metadata/.log file?
cannelleMemberno, nothing.
