I am running maven on my client machine, the output goes to the build directory. After building the project with maven, the HTML-Validator of myeclipse looks up the build directory and finds some errors inside of the generated javadoc.

It would be nice, if you can prevent the HTML-Validator to scan a particular directory. Something like the CVS ignore stuff.

    Cyrill,

HTML validation has been reworked in 3.8 GA so you won’t have permanent error markers like you do now. Please give it a try, once available, and let us know if it suits your needs.

You can also turn automatic HTML validation off in the Myeclipse->JSP/HTML Editor->HTML Formatting and Validation preference page until the 3.8GA release comes out.
