    Hi,

Here’s what I’m experiencing. It looks like a useful feature of MyEclipse 8.5 is not working as expected.

I opened a pom.xml for a Web Project, and I have selected the Dependency Hierarchy tab. I am seeing about 20 nodes within the Dependency Hierarchy panel. I expanded a node to see it’s dependencies. I found a sub-node that I want to exclude from the dependency tree because it’s causing a conflict. I right-clicked on the node, selected Exclude Maven Artifact…, and in the next dialog I see no changes between the Original Source and the Refactored Source. I have tried this several times on several different sub-nodes within the Dependency Hierarchy, and the Original and Refactored Source are always the same. Eclipse is not making the change I requested.

Could you see if this is a bug?

    I am using Windows XP SP3 on a 32bit dual-core laptop (Lenovo T61p).

    Cheers!

    +Stephen

    Stephen,
I could not replicate this at my end. I have attached some screen shots for your reference. Can you give some more information regarding your issue?
    1. Can you copy paste your installation details from MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details?
    2. Can you list out the steps in detail to replicate the issue?
    3. After you click “OK”, are the changes reflected in the pom.xml?
