Hi,

I like to execute HQL Querys from within MyEclipse:

– as a view inside the DB perspective

– mark the HQL inside the *.hbm.xml file and choose execute from the pop-up menu (Named arguments?).

+1 for an HQL editor in the DB perpective, it would be trivial to integrate nicely hibernate8ide, ideally, the connection should be able to be set by the myeclipse config menu, dont assume there is a hibernate.cfg.xml always ( i use spring and i configure my datasource at the bean level in xml).
