bluesapphireMemberIam trying MobiOne design center. “Export as HTML” is not working. Can you guide me in this regards
Thanks in advance
wayneModeratorA few questions to get started.
1) What version of MobiOne are you using? See Help>About for the version info.
2) Does HTML export fail for all designs or a specific design? If the latter can you post a screenshot of the design or a brief description?
Note if you are using 1.0 milestone-8, we released update-1 to MobiOne 1.0 milestone-8 last Friday that included some improvements in HTML code-generation.

You must be logged in to view attached files.
wayneModeratorThanks for that info. A few more Q’s:
1) Can you post the path you are exporting to, e.g., c:\foo\bar.html
2) Can you send me your log file?
The mobione logfile location is <user-home>\.mobione\runtime\.metadata\.log
Do me a favor and stop mobione, delete the current .log file, restart mobione and try an export scenario. Then send me the new .log file to my attention (Wayne in message title), mailto:support@genuitec.com.Wayne

derblutenkatMemberI’m running v1 m8 update 1 and HTML Export IS working…..just not the way it should. I think the issue is similar to one I read about originally in milestone 6 (maybe?) where links wouldn’t populate to the HTML correctly until the links in the .mobi file were clicked in the Test Center.
So, steps to reproduce the HTML Export issue:
1 – Save file
2 – Export to HTML
3 – Navigate to export directory…..nothing will be thereWorkaround Steps to successfully export HTML:
1 – Save file
2 – Export to HTML
3 – Click the Test Center button (you don’t have to click any links though…just open the .mobi file in Test Center)
4 – Navigate to export directory…..HTML, CSS and JS files will be thereAlso, I think I’ve noticed that sometimes updated HTML, CSS and JS files won’t export unless the existing HTML, CSS and JS files in the export directory are deleted first. Maybe related, maybe not…I’d have to test further to confirm this theory though.
wayneModeratorThanks for the details. The dev team is researching your export problems now.
2 – Export to HTML
At step-2 does mobione present you get a File dialog that you can navigate to new directory?
If yes can you try saving to a new empty directory and let us know if it succeeds?Wayne

gvorsterMemberIt works when I first click to run in the test center.
The html is created.
Not when I first click on export to html.
