It would be really cool to have a website like http://www.eclipsecolorthemes.org where I can browse for icon packs especially made for #DarkestDark. Also supporting custom icon fonts would be interesting to have (on Retina displays icon fonts are a must!)

Great suggestion! As a mid-term roadmap item we are indeed looking to allow the community to contribute theme packs on top of Darkest Dark — different color palettes and adding into that icons is a great idea! We’ve just released the Icon Designer and are now looking forward to see how the pickup is.
