If you link to an external webpage from a list or button, how do you get control back to your app? There isn’t a back button displayed in the browser at that point and I haven’t been able to get back to the app without closing and reopening.

What I suspect is that you are running into the default webclip mode in the Test Center. The Test Center emulator will provide a button bar with back and forward buttons if you turn on strict webclip mode. Then when you transition to an external website you can use the back button to navigate back to your app.

By default the strict webclip mode is turned off since because many MobiOne users are interested in a full-screen application layout. See the screenshot for how to turn on strict mode.

If you change the emulator’s strict mode when a webapp is already running you will need to reload the webapp to see the effect of the new mode, i.e., Browser menu>Reload

    See attachment example-webpage-2.png

Actually where I am seeing this is on the Iphone when running from the home page link. Can you keep the linked page “inside” your app so you and show the back buttons on it like it does in the emulator? Please excuse my questions if they are general knowlege, I’m an IT guy just not a developer and haven’t worked with HTML5 or php…
