we’re using MyEclipse with WAS 6.1 integration in our company. We got the problem that the Windows GDI Objects of myeclipse are increasing extremely when deploying and undeploying EARs , which results in a myeclipse crash.

This problem will be fixed in the upcoming 9.0.1 release due in a couple of weeks, thank you for asking. Unfortunately I cannot suggest a workaround right now, sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Now a couple of weeks have passed and our developers are still very unhappy with this bug. After every two or three redeployments MyEclipse crashes and must be terminated via taskmanager.
When will MyEclipse Blue 9.0.1 be available?
The WebSphere 6.1 connector is the only feature of MyEclipse Blue Edition we really need.
Without a fix our project will not renew its 30 licenses.Regards

MyEclipse 9.0.1 is under QA right now and unfortunately is a tad delayed due to us having to verify fixes to performance issues caused JavaScript. It is about another couple of weeks delayed at this point, but rest assured that your has already been fixed and tested.
I would also like to inform you that we have a new deployment mode coming in Blue 9.0.1 which is going to make deployment to WebSphere much faster.
I apologize for the delays caused but we are working on releasing this asap.
