Ranjith199ParticipantHi,
I am getting “Problems during update of deployment of project” error while migrating my EJB project from RAD 7 to MyEclipse 13.

support-swapnaModeratorRanjith,
Sorry that you are seeing issues. I could not replicate the issue at my end on MyEclipse Blue 2013 (11.0.2). Go to Help > Check for Updates and update to 2013 SR2 (11.0.2) which is the latest in the 2013 stream.
I imported the .zip file using ‘Import > Existing Projects into Workspace’ and selected the EJB project only during import. Once imported the migration wizard opened up automatically and the next screen during migration showed me this error :
You should configure the WAS 7 as target runtime to fix the migration issue. Click on the ‘Configure Websphere 7.0 Server connector’ and point to the already installed WAS 7 location. Here is the screenshot for your reference :
Once you configure the WAS 7, you should select it as runtime and proceed through the migration wizard. Once done, your EJB project will be migrated without any errors.
If you are importing the EAR project, then fix the target runtime for the EAR project and you should be all set to work.
If you are still seeing issues, please switch to a new workspace, import the project and prepare a document with the screenshots for migration process to help us get a visual. Also attach the .log file which is located at <workspace dir>/.metadata/.log to help us investigate further.
Let us know how it works for you.
Ranjith199ParticipantThank you for your assistance Swpana…

support-swapnaModeratorRanjith,
Glad that you got the first project working.
Can you please let us know what changes you made to get it working?
Resource ‘/RenewalWebTools/bin-debug/skin’ does not exist.
The .log file has the above error. Can you please refresh the project and then deploy to see if the issue is fixed?
If the issue persists, please delete the contents of the .log file and the deployment log. Import the project, perform migration and deployment. Please send us both the .log and the deployment log.
Please also send us the project to help us replicate the issue at our end.
Ranjith199Participantsame steps performed what ever you said above… first time i think I missed any step…
Thank you once again Swapna
support-swapnaModeratorRanjith,
I assume you are no longer seeing issues with migration.
Let us know if you see any issues. -
