Hi there,
I installed eclipse 3.1 and myeclipse 3.8.4 (3.1M6beta – 30 days trial) on (install succeed since I see the MyEclipse menu, perspective opens and I can see the extensions in the Manage Configuration).

I now try to start the wizard of the J2EE->Entreprise Application Project by pressing Ctrl+N, then selecting it and click Next. BUT then I received the misleading error :
The selected wizard could not be started
Reason:
WizardNewProjectCreationPage_projectNameEmpty.

I f I start the WebProject wizard the subscription window appears and after closing it. nothing more happens…..

What to do ? What is wrong ??

This actually sounds like a mismatch between the Eclipse and MyEclipse version. Can you navigate to Window > Preferences > MyEclipse and post the buildId and version information you find there? Additionally, can you open Help > About Eclipse Platform > Configuration Details and post the buildId for the Eclipse installation?

You are absolutely right.
Eclipse and myeclipse version numbers mismatched : I installed eclipse-SDK-3.1M5a-win32.zip (3.1 M5) and EnterpriseWorkbenchInstaller_030804_3.1M6Beta.exe (3.1 M6) !!!!
Now i reinstall eclipse_sdk_3_1m6_win32.zip with same myeclipse.. and it seems to work.
Correct buildId for M6 eclipse is I20050401-1645.
