I recently saw a blog spot from riawanderer.com and tried posting a comment there but got a bunky 500-error.

I have been using FlexBuilder 3 with MyEclipse since version 6.01 with no problems. My only beef is when you upgrade versions of MyEclipse, I have had to re-install FB to the new version. Am I missing something or can you make this process seemless?

Also, PHP support, PHP support, PHP support. 🙂

    Thanks,
    Aaron

    Aaron,
You want Flex Builder to be a part of the MyEclipse package?

    Nipun,

Yes, that would be great. But here is what I was really trying to convey. When I go to download and install MyEclipse 7, I will then need to go and re-install FlexBuilder again. I suppose including FB as part of the MyEclipse package would solve the issue.

    Thanks,
    Aaron

Here is a question for you. So I went ahead and tried installing MyEclipse 7. FlexBuilder3 needs an eclipse directory, with the executable and a configurations directory under it. I do not see the “eclipse” directory anymore. Is this new/changed with Eclipse 3.4?

Not with a standard Eclipse 3.4 (Ganymede) installation. It is just the current MyEclipse 7.0 distribution that obfuscates the original Ganymede directory structure.

    Guys,
The pulse update which is due to be released this week will allow dropping of plugins into the plugin folder. This update should get the Eclipse functionality to work with MyEclipse as well.
