After creating the class files if I want to generate java codes, it creates the code if there is only one class . If there are multiples classes with relationship between them , no code is produced. In other words, going to Generate java –> finish doesn’t finish. The window persist without creating .java files

    sarad ,
Can you go to MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details and paste the information here for me.

Are there any errors logged under <workspace>/.metadata/.log file ?

Can you switch to a new workspace, create a new project, add a UMR to it with multiple classes and try Forward Engg again. Does it work ?

when I created a new workspace and tried to run the “Generate java” it worked ok for very simple application . But , it again failed similarly for a class diagrams with 4-5 classes.

    sarad,
What is the error being logged under <workspace>/.metadata/.log file when the forward engg fails ?

Are you working on 32 bit or 64 bit vista ?
