    Hi All,

    Does anyone know when Eclipse/MyEclipse will plan to support full JDK1.5 constructs?

    Wish List:

      new iteration feature (with templates)
      annotations
      debug/detail formatters

    Is Eclipse the bottleneck for this feature?

    I suggest you try Eclipse 3.1M4 with MyEclipse 3.8.4 Beta (for Eclipse 3.1M4) and see if this is all the functionality you wanted.

    Is Eclipse the bottleneck for this feature?

    If you mean in the Java editor, then yes.

    You will need to update XDoclet to support Java 5 syntax:
