I’m getting an error:

    Error Aug 02, 2004 17:05:06.193 Attempt to activate a disabled plug-in: “org.eclipse.gef”.

when I try to view the struts-config file. I’ve followed everything I can see on this forum and nothing fixes the problem.

Can you please post all the information we request in the Posting Guidelines thread at the top of this forum? That will give us some context so that we can determine if this is an installation issue, a configuration problem, or a bug. Thanks.

The log entries are important, it might help tell us why GEF was disabled. Also have you tried the workaround for the out-of-date-gef issue here: http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2+file-viewtopic-t-2916.html

Guys check out this link: http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2+file-viewtopic-t-2916.html

Keep in mind that the GEF plugin was versioned “3.0.0” during almost its entire recent dev cycle, so its completely likely that you have an old GEF plugin and need GEF Final.

like i said, i already tried that. i also tried every other combination of the eclipse GEF vs the on supplied with MyEclipse. I still can’t get it to work.

Dave can you post the information I asked for in the 2nd link? This might be a funky version conflict… also the Build IDs for Eclipse and MyEclipse are important.

    Thanks!
