    Hi,
I just installed version 7.0 and stumbled on the same issue. (No comments are generated in the java source code when forward engineering a UML class diagram)
I found posts on the forum that this was supposed to be fixed in version 6.X. What is the actual status of this bug? Is there a new release date?
I also noticed that javadoc comments within the source code are not imported into the UML model either when you reverse engineer a class. Is this normal?

    Regards,
    Ronald

    Ronald,
Im afraid that the management has not prioritized this issue for the next release. Sorry about that.

    Hello

for me it is not understandable, why the feature to generate the Comments, I have put in my UML Classes, into the generated Java Code, is no longer supported. I know, that in worked in former releases.
I used this feature to generate Annotations (e.g. for Hibernate or for JPA) out of the Javadoc-Comments.

I am using MyEclipse for about 3 years, but the loss of this feature would be a retrograde move.

Do you think, you will reinstall this feature again?

    Thank you

    Dominik
