I am sure this is answered somewhere in another post or somewhere else on the site, but I honestly could not find it.

When will MyEclipse support generics in hibernate?

If you mean generate code that uses generics, we will likely make those changes around the same time we support annotations which we are thinking will be late in 5.0 or in 5.1 cycle after we get infrastructure work done.

If you mean just you manually using generics, you can do that already, the support from the Java Editor has been there since 3.1.

I know the editor supports generics, I was asking more when the generated code would use generics. Thanks for the answer!

What’s the status of generating jdk5 generics in the generated POJOs? Is it available yet?

    Thanks,

    Rob,

Generics are not yet supported directly (as of MyEclipse 5.1), but it is one of the topics under consideration for the next release.
