    Hi,

I’m developing a test app that is rich with images. Inevitably, I’ve hit the 1MB limit for uploading the compressed file to the AppSync Service (despite reducing picture resolutions as far as is practical). Is there a way that I can get around this limit?

I wondered if there a way that I can “chain together” a number of independent MobiOne apps which each are less than the 1MB limit? However, even if this was possible, I guess these would then have to exist as multiple independent apps on the iPhone which wouldn’t be so good unless all but the main app were not visible.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Adrian

    Hi Adrian,

Q: is the bulk of your app size from images?

We are rethinking the current 1MB limit for AppSync now but any changes will not be available for another month or so. Have you tried using image compression utilities such as the free OptiPNG, http://optipng.sourceforge.net/?
