1. Is it possible to get just the numerical data from a mixed data txtArea? for numerical processing
2. Is it possible to get and then export data in a text area that has been updated via a javascript cue

After using the select list example to populate a textArea that shows “product :: £price” im now trying to total the values or apply a discount.

Hi Will,

I suggest you to use arrays before copy the data to textarea. Saving your data in arrays you can easily manage operations beetween the data.
