vinhson119ParticipantI got a lot of problems after install codemix plugin for eclipse? Cannot run spring application, cannot open file by codemix editor. And I cannot uninstall it out of my eclipse? I tried to disable codemix but it cannot resolve my issue? I feel very terrible with this plugin! Anybody can help me, please!
– problem when start application
Errors occurred during the build. Errors running builder 'CodeMix Builder' on project 'api'. Invalid thread state detected on read.
timwebbKeymasterVery unusual for you to have that experience. Certainly you should be able to uninstall it fine as well — mind confirming if you have any other software installed from Genuitec like Webclipse, DevStyle or MyEclipse?
If uninstalling is giving you issues, you can disable CodeMix from the CodeMix preference page, you’ll see a checkbox to enable functionality. Would it be possible for you to share your Error Log with us or any stack traces from the log where you see genuitec plugins in it?
if you continue to have issues, you can make CodeMix become forcibly disabled by removing the “com.genuitec.eclipse.code.core” plugin from your Eclipse/configuration/org.eclipse.equinox.simpleconfigurator/bundles.info file.
That said, we’d greatly appreciate it if you can provide more details on your install and logs. Thanks and sorry you ran into this!
vinhson119Participant– function “disable CodeMix from the CodeMix” didn’t work. I still got error “Errors running builder ‘CodeMix Builder’ on project ‘apptool’. Invalid thread state detected on read” when run an java application from eclipse.
– And I found this problem is: eclipse is running with normal user. I must run this eclipse as administrator if I want to work with eclipse and codemix plugin. But in my company, I have to contact IT admin each time I run an application as administrator. It not comfortable for me and our company IT admin. Could you fix this issue soon?
support-swapnaModeratorvinhson119,
Can you please clarify why you think that you need to run Eclipse as administrator for the CodeMix plugin to work? CodeMix does not require admin rights to run.
Please let us know if you are working with MyEclipse or Eclipse IDE. Also share with us the workspace log file by clicking on the ‘Export Log’ icon in the Error Log view to help us get the full list of errors.
Apologies for inconvenience caused.
