I want to add a very big plead for Grails support. I’m considering switching from MyEclipse to Intelij just for the Grails support.

I’m adding my voice requesting support for Groovy / Grails in the IDE. We are gearing up for a Grails project and just completed a review of Groovy & Grails support across the IDE offerings. I’m quite surprised at the poor offerings for such support and would like to see Genuitec build a killer Groovy/Grails plugin for MyEclipse!

Groovy/Grails support would be much appreciated.

We are having to develop our grails project “outside” of myeclipse. Please count my vote toward integrating support.

We now have two ide’s going. New developers are using Intelij with grails and the old are using MyEclipse for the java. We need to merge back to one environment soon and I would love it to be MyEclipse. Please count my vote toward’s grails/Groovy integration

It’s hard to keep up with new frameworks. And I’ve already voted to add Groovy/Grails support in MyEclipse, but I thought that an extra message wouldn’t hurt (as if you’re not busy enough already!). Grails is going to be a “technology fracture” in terms of its adoption, so the sooner the better for MyEclipse. Otherwise, NetBeans will eat your lunch.

    Thanks

I would like to support the multitude of people asking for Grails support. MyEclipse is already playing catch up rather than leader in this regard.

I thought Intelij was going to step up and make Groovy/Grails support free but it looks like it’s ommited from the free version.
