hi there,

I saw a comparison of Spring Roo and MyEclipse which shows that MyEclipse can generate scaffolding for GWT/Spring/Hibernate apps.

After I downloaded the 8.5 version of MyEclipse IDE for Spring, I could NOT find a way to generate the GWT scaffolding (only Spring MVC is available).

I’m assuming that GWT scaffolding is a feature meant for a LATER release. Can you let me know when GWT scaffolding is available ?

Its available in the 8.6 Milestone 2 which was released on Friday July 2nd.

You are correct. 8.5 only scaffolds Spring MVC. 8.6 M2 has enhanced Spring MVC scaffolding plus GWT, Adobe Flex, Spring Web Flow, and iPhone Web.

If you use Pulse, then 8.6 M2 is available right now. If you don’t use Pulse, the offline installers will be available by the end of the day. I’ll post a comment here as soon as they are ready.
