Has anyone actually done the GA 5.1 update successfully ? I have tried everything that is specified in the special instructions, including turn on ‘compatible’, not ‘equivalent’ switch. But MyEclipse picks nothing and keeps saying no updates found. Do I have to do complete install ? Or has someone been able to do the update ?

I did last night. Worked just fine on my old 5.0.1 install. Took quite awhile since basically *everything* got an update. It’s probably faster to download a full installer, just because it’s more efficient to download one big file than lots of smaller ones.

If you’re a bit concerned about it, I’d recommend just downlaoding our “All-in-one” installer to plop a full 5.1.0GA stack down in another location. Then you can try out the new release without updating your current release if you want.
