Unable to locate .myeclipse.properties file
support-joyMemberdharvineet,
What is the issue you are facing? Please answer below queries –
1. What is your OS and version? Are you on 32 / 64 bit?
2. What is the MyEclipse version you have installed?
3. How did you install MyEclipse ? meaning – using all-in-one installer / pulse / archived update site on top of eclipse classic?
4. Why are you trying to refer .myeclipse.properties? It is located at your [USER-HOME] directory. Refer – https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/installation-where-are-the-myeclipse-files-and-folders/ on the location of .myeclipse.properties
5. Have you prior installs of MyEclipse? If yes, please list them here
6. Copy and paste your installation details here – open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details.
7. Attach your .log file located at [your workspace dir]/.metadata/.logBased on the eclipse.buildId, it looks like your installation is either incomplete / corrupted. Please try -clean, refer – https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/troubleshoot-using-the-clean-command-line-argument/
In case clean does not work, you need to re-install. I recommend you re-install using pulse. Please follow this FAQ – https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/installation-how-to-install-myeclipse-from-pulse/
Right click on your MyEclipse profile from “My Profiles” and click on [re-install and run]. This will open a wizard which will guide you through the rest of the steps. -
