    Hi,

I use Eclipse Galileo at work where I get suggestions for fixes whenever i hover over a compilation error – suggesting i import a missing class for example. I cannot see how to turn this tool tip type help on in MyEclipse – please can somebody tell me how to switch this on?

    Cheers!

    D,

Can you answer few queries for me to get to the root cause?
    1. Can you copy and paste your installation detail? Open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details
    2. How did you install ME? Meaning all-in-one installer / using pulse / archived update site on top of eclipse classic?
    3. Have you added any 3rd party plugins to your ME profile? If yes, can you list them here

Typically, if there are any compilation issues, they get listed under problems tab. If you double click on an issue, it will take you to the problem and on mouse-hover, describes the issue. If this is currently not occuring, can you open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on Window > Preferences and click on [Restore Defaults], [Apply] and [OK]? Next perform refresh of all your projects and perform a clean of all projects by clicking on Project > Clean and choose all projects.

Let me know how this works for you.
