In know this has been asked before, but I have not seen a definitive answer.

When can I count on hibernate 3 support being added to myeclipse?

I enjoy your tool but without hibernate 3 support, myeclipse will soon be of little use to me.

I am not even talking being able to support all the hibernate tools, I am asking for at least the validation support, so that when create my mapping xml, it can do syntax validation.

That’s because we don’t have one, the definitive answer thus far is “We aren’t planning new features until 4.0 gets out the door.”, but that aside, given the popularity of Hibernate and the enhancements we are making to it in 4.0, I can’t imagine it would be a very long wait, we know it’s important.

Both the config XML file and mapping XML files follow a DTD, which is validated by the XML editor, I don’t know what you are referring to here… do you mean validation against the DB itself?
