I see that there are Hibernate Templates…

I would like to have the class files generated differently. I would like a base object with the database columns in it and then an interface for it. I do not like all the objects and “id” stuff that is generated.

Are there any options available. Is this what the Hibernate Templates are? Where can I get some to try out?
